Hemp protein is the milled seed of cannabis sativa, one of the most useful plants in the world. It is a nutritional wonder, containing a huge collection of amino acids, fatty acids, a dietarily optimal ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, a large dose of easily-absorbed protein, plenty of dietary fibre and a supporting cast of minerals, including iron, calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, zinc and copper.

PRODUCTION Rainforest Foods hemp protein is made from 100% organic German hemp. The seeds are analysed to detect contaminants, and cleaned to remove foreign bodies. They are then sorted to remove any unhealthy seeds, and pressed to extract the oil. The resulting pulp of fibre and protein, or 'hemp cake', is milled. A process of sieving separates the fibre from the protein, which is collected and packaged in powder form.

ORGANIC CERTIFICATION Rainforest Foods hemp protein has been certified organic by the Soil Association (GB-ORG-05).

INGREDIENTS Organic hemp protein powder (50% protein).

SUGGESTED USE Add a scoop (20-30g) of hemp protein powder to water, milk, juice or a smoothie. Stir/shake and consume. Use 2-3 times daily or as required. Suitable for people with lactose and gluten intolerance, as well as diabetics. This product should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet. As with all food supplements, you should consult a doctor before using this product if you are being treated for any medical condition, are pregnant or nursing.
